Why Ric Flair Wasn't On RAW, Bret Hart, & More News

Why Ric Flair Wasn't On RAW, Bret Hart, & More NewsWade Keller is reporting that one of the reasons for Ric Flair not being mentioned on RAW last night is that he may be returning to SmackDown to continue the retirement storyline. However, Flair was not part of Sunday night’s SmackDown/ECW taping in Florence, South Carolina. With him not being mentioned on RAW, this still may be an indication that he’ll end up on SmackDown where the retirement angle will continue with Vince McMahon with perhaps a match getting booked for WWE’s upcoming Armageddon pay-per-view. There has definitely been a change of plans and it's not likely a good thing. Stay tuned.

The Bret Hart book signing at a bookstore in Cambridge last night drew such a large crowd it practically shutdown the store. Scheduled to begin at 7 PM, Bret was already signing copies of his book at 6 PM and continued to sign after 8 PM. The store sold out of the book well before the book signing ended. According to a reader report if a customer entered the store and wanted to buy another book they had to have a staff member get the book to maneuver around the large book signing crowd.

WWE has posted a preview for WWE 24/7 for the month of January on their official web site. The series will focus on the first episode of RAW, Hulk Hogan’s WCW debut, ECW on TNN, and more. Check out WWE.com for more details.
