- Sting defeated Abyss in a Prison Yard Match. For those unaware, the stipulation with this match is that the winner must lock his opponent inside a prison cell/small cage. The match started outside and a shot is shown of the cage hanging above the ring. Both Abyss and Sting did their entrances inside the Impact Zone and then headed to the outside area. When the match officially started, both started to brawl in front of a crowd also outside of the Impact Zone. Abyss puts Sting on a table with wheels and sends him into a dumpster. Abyss then throws Sting inside the dumpster. A big spot then saw Sting dive off the top of the dumpster onto Abyss who was on the table. Sting and Abyss then re-entered the Impact Zone. Sting got a barbed wire baseball bat and hit Abyss with it. Inside the ring, the cage starts to lower when Sting calls for it. Abyss' arm is covered in blood. Sting started attacking Mitchell until Abyss interfered. Abyss brought a table into the ring and Mitchell is shown bleeding from his forehead. Abyss puts Sting into the cage, but couldn't shut the door. Abyss then brought in a board full of barbed wire and puts it in the corner. Abyss with a Black Hole Slam on Sting. Abyss takes off Sting's mask, but Sting comes back with Stinger Splash and a Scorpion Deathdrop. Sting then throws Abyss back in the cage and applies the Scorpion Deathlock on Mitchelle. Abyss breaks that up and puts Sting on the table. Sting gets off and puts the barbed wire board on the table. The finish then saw Sting grab Abyss and powerbomb him onto the table on the barbed wire. Sting then threw Abyss in the cage and got the win.

- Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Kurt Angle. Angle said he is in "the zone" tonight and that he had to get through Samoa Joe to earn this title shot tonight.

NWA World Heavyweight title match: Christian Cage (with Tomko) vs. Kurt Angle. As per usual, JB did the ring introductions. The referee has ejected Tomko, even before the match started. No sign of Joe or Steiner in the early stages of the match. About a minute into the match, Joe's music starts. Joe comes out with a chair in hand. He sits ringside for the contest. Fans started the "lets go Angle, lets go Christian" chant. Hangman style neck breaker on the arena floor by Cage, Joe tells Angle to get up. Angle controlled the match early, but Cage gained the upper hand. First pin fall pin attempt by Angle at 8:30, but the champ kicked out. Cage went for an unprettier, but Angle countered into an ankle lock, but Cage grabbed the ropes. Low blow by Cage, followed by the unprettier, but Angle kicked out! Cage did moves ala Steiner. Angle hit SEVEN German suplexes in a row, but Cage kicked out! Styles came out, and was chased by Joe. Cage hit a chair shot (which we didn't see on TV) and went for a frog splash. He hit it, but Angle kicked out. Unprettier, but Angle kicked out again. Joe returned to ring side. Ankle lock attempt, but he bumps into the referee, Andrew Thomas. Joe tossed Cage back into the ring. Angle flips off cage, and hits the olympic slam, but no referee. Joe pulls the referee back into the ring, but Cage kicked out. Cage hits the referee. Tomko comes in and gets German suplexes. In comes Steiner, but has no effect. Joe comes in and helps to clean house. Angle pushes Joe. Suicide dive by Joe into Tomko and Steiner. Joe brawls with Steiner and Tomko into the back. Ankle lock by Angle in the ring. Referee is still down. Cage taps out, but the referee doesn't see it. Cage hits Angle with a led pipe that was brough in by Steiner. Unprettier by Cage. Cage wins at 19:03. Cage celebrated with Steiner and Tomko after the match. West said this sucks, and that Cage sucks as the broadcast concluded.
