There are several major news items to report from Thursday’s “iMPACT!” broadcast as TNA Wrestling heads towards the April 15 “Lockdown” Pay-Per-View event from St. Louis!

LETHAL LOCKDOWN ANNOUNCED – CAGE AND ANGLE NAMED CAPTAINS On Thursday’s broadcast on SpikeTV, TNA management director Jim Cornette announced that the “Lethal Lockdown” match would be returning to Pay-Per-View on April 15! Cornette also announced that World Champion Christian Cage would captain one team while Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle would lead the other inside the cage. During the broadcast, it was announced that AJ Styles was the first star to join Team Cage, as the World Champion had apparently offered “The Phenomenal One” a title shot in return.

IS ABYSS FINALLY LISTENING TO STING? In addition, Christian Cage promised to reveal the third member of his team on “iMPACT!”, with Abyss emerging at the end of the broadcast. However, the icon known as Sting appeared to say that Abyss wanted nothing to do with Cage and was his own man now, despite the fact the entire story regarding his violent past has yet to be revealed. So, it appears Cage won’t be able to count on Abyss to be a part of his team, which leads us to wonder – is Abyss finally paying attention to Sting?

WHO WILL KURT ANGLE PICK FOR HIS TEAM? Now, the question is what TNA stars Kurt Angle will select for his team. In what could be a telling sign, it was announced during the broadcast that Angle, Samoa Joe and Rhino requested a six-man match on next week’s “iMPACT!”. Nothing is final yet, but could Joe and Rhino be the first members of Team Angle?

WHO IS THIS “FRIEND” ERIC YOUNG KEEPS TALKING ABOUT? Also on Thursday’s broadcast, Jeremy Borash found Eric Young on his hands and knees in the men’s room scrubbing toilets, as ordered by Robert Roode. Borash told Young if he really has this “friend” he keeps talking to, he may want to call him to help him with this situation with Robert Roode. Just as Young was about to dial this “friend” on his cell, Roode and Ms. Brooks busted in and berated Young!
