On the TNA/NWA split, what is currently happening is that wrestlers from each NWA member company have been issuing challenges for the NWA title, including Bryan Danielson, Adam Pearce, and Brent Albright. The current plan is for their to be a tournament and crowning of a new NWA champion. During that time, TNA plans to simply re-brand their titles as TNA Titles, and get new belts made. As of right now, there are no plans for an on air angle to explain the drop of the NWA name, it will just be phased out according to the staff at WrestlingInc.com.
