MTV will air a marathon of five unaired WSX episodes next Tuesday starting at 11PM ET. They will then air the season finale the following Tuesday at 10:30PM ET. The finale features an Exploding Steel Cage match. Obviously MTV is trying to run through the series as fast as possible. At this point, it doesn't appear as if WSXtra will return. MTV will also own the rights to release WSX on DVD.
WWE RAW did a 4.05 rating last night off hours of 3.8 and 4.3. The final averaged number should be available shortly. Whether it is a 4.0 or 4.1, it is down from a 4.3 last week. The rating has to be considered a disappointment due to WWE advertising two major matches for the show well in advance (Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton and John Cena vs. Edge) as well as the return of Steve Austin which had been promoted in the media as far back as two weeks ago.
