Stephanie and Triple H are said to have been very upset backstage this past Sunday at WrestleMania. Dave Meltzer posted a story spoiling several segments that were going to be aired on WrestleMania. Dave reported that Shane McMahon wanted to open the PPV as the host, standing in the ring and throwing it over to Aretha Franklin to perform. Stephanie was against this idea, resulting in it not happening. Once Triple H and Stephanie got wind of the story, both were very upset. They were determined to find the source of the leak.

For those wondering, the bump Edge took at WrestleMania was staged. As has been previously reported, Edge is still suffering from a fractured jaw. Jeff Hardy doing a leg drop off the ladder on to edge was all played out to get Edge out of the match without doing further damage to his fractured jaw. This was played out to keep his momentum in full effect and to keep his WrestleMania streak from being buried.
