Rory McAllister of The Highlanders (the bald one) seems to be suffering from some sort of depression. On his MySpace page, he said he was not going to be responding to anything for a while.

"I am going through some very hard times and such, can't devote any time to myspace. I may be shutting the site down. I haven't figured out what I want to do yet. I just know I'm miserable."

Rory posted a follow-up message on his MySpace account over the weekend and said: "A week ago my girlfriend, my best friend and the love of my life, and I broke up. I have been a mess. I miss her with every breath and have a hole inside me the size of my house. She has been unwell and in pain and I didn't know how to handle that and when she asked for space to deal with this on her own I didn't know how to give it to her. All I seen was a loved one in pain and I guess I smothered her when I should have walked away. This is the only regret I have in my life after all the crap I have been through. I pushed her away. I can't blame her nor will I ever. She is an amazing person and for her future I wish her nothing but happiness and love. She has to be with herself and deal with what she has to deal with and once I finally pick myself up I have to do the same. She is my beautifull and life without her is painfull."

He then thanked the fans for their kind comments and that he will be keeping the page open after all.
