Despite previous rumors of WWE backing off the “Mr. McMahon death angle” due to the death of Sherri Martel, it appears that they will continue to keep the course of the angle. Some people inside the company questioned the storyline after Martel was found dead this past Friday.

WWE.com ran an article yesterday talking about how Shane and Stephanie spent their first Feather’s Day without Vince. Today they are promoting that tonight’s RAW will be "the first time in the show’s 14-year history, Mr. McMahon will not be any part of it whatsoever."

WWE and USA Network officials are anxious to see how the ratings will go over the next few weeks.
