For those of you that have not heard, WWE gave developmental talent Dan Rodman a main event match against WWE Champion John Cena over the weekend at a RAW brand house show in Raleigh, North Carolina. Orton, who was Cena’s advertised opponent for the event, attacked Cena during the match. Orton was working the event as “injured.” Regarding Rodman, he made his debut on WWE.com Heat late last month and is a 300 pound 6’7 big guy.
Rob Van Dam will make his first post-WWE appearance at the Memorabilia pop culture convention in New Jersey over the weekend of July 7-8.
Sonny Siaki and Ryan O’Reily are currently working dark matches with the SmackDown/ECW crew. Siaki is a former TNA talent and O’Reily is a WWE developmental talent who was scheduled at one point to be brought up to the main ECW brand just before its re-launch.
