- ECW superstar CM Punk took a nasty bump during last night’s qualifying match against Marcus Cor Von for a shot at the ECW Title at Vengeance. Cor Von dropped Punk on the back of his head and neck after a powerslam near the end of their match. While Punk was obviously shaken up, he was not injured and will be fine to face Chris Benoit this Sunday at Vengeance for the ECW Title.
- Speaking of Sunday’s Vengeance pay-per-view, it is sold out and has been for nearly a month. RAW the following night in Corpus Christi, Texas is also sold out.
- Bret “Hit Man” Hart is said to be in some of the best shape he has been since his stroke. According to the Waterloo Chronicle out of Ontario, Hart bench pressed 295 pounds last week.
