It has been announced that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon will be among the names honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2008. There will be a special ceremony and a permanent star on the Walk of Fame in honor of McMahon. The star will be placed under the Television category for his contributions to the broadcast television industry. The Walk of Fame runs three and a half miles down the sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard. To be honored, the honoree has to agree to attend a presentation ceremony within five years of their selection and must pay a fee of $25,000. Expect WWE to make a big deal out of the recent honor.
