As noted yesterday here on the site, John Cena has been telling people that he has a script in hand for a new WWE Films production that will begin filming in the fall. It will not be a sequel to The Marine.
Florida Championship Wrestling, WWE's new developmental territory, held its first event at the Dallas Bull in Tampa, Florida last night. Harry Smith won a 21 person battle royal to become the first Florida Championship Wrestling Southern Heavyweight Champion. Rene Dupree also appeared on the show. Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart was in attendance.
