Former WWE star Romeo Roselli from the Heartbreakers has been keeping busy since his WWE release. He has just finished taping a scene for the feature movie "Baby Mama”, which is scheduled for a 2008 fall release. The movie stars Saturday Night Live's Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and television personality Greg Kinnear. Romeo Roselli plays a featured performer as the ladies go to a nightclub and spot Roselli. He has also taped a stint being a clothing model for an upcoming MTV series "Band in a Bubble". He is also in for a role in a police drama in Italy which will last for episodes in Italy. Romeo Roselli who is the NWE champion in Italy, who have has been working on getting him out to modeling and acting agencies.
In an interview last month Todd Grisham told WHTK-AM in Rochester, N.Y. that he was hired by WWE by him sending a demo tape to WWE after one of his friends suggested that he should. WWE then brought him in for an interview and hired him. Grisham said that he has no worries from moving from "real sports" to "pro wrestling" as he was just working weekends for the Tucson, Ariz. TV station at that time.
The July issue of MAD Magazine features a two page spread on WWE WrestleMania 23, which is called "Hair Club for McMahon department." The spread features photos from the match between Umaga, McMahon, Lashley and Trump at WrestleMania, with captions. One caption says "Ha Ha! Your head is shaved! You look like a complete loser! Oh, wait..." when Bobby Lashley held the mirror to Vince’s face after he was shaved bald.
The Disney comedy featuring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, "The Gameplan" has launched a website; www.GamePlanMovie.com.
