Family: Memorial for slain wrestler's wife, son postponed

DAYTONA BEACH - A member of the Toffoloni family of slain wrestler Nancy Toffoloni Benoit said Saturday a planned memorial service for her in the Daytona Beach area has been postponed.

The family member said there will be a local service in the near future, but due to the ongoing investigation into the deaths of Benoit and her 7-year-old son, Daniel, plans have been delayed.

When memorial service information becomes available, the family member said the information would be released to the public.

Nancy and Daniel Benoit were killed last weekend by World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Chris Benoit, according to investigators.

Nancy and Chris Benoit were married in 2000. She was a former DeLand High School student who achieved fame in World Championship Wrestling under the stage name "Woman."
