There is a video on Booker T's official website in which he mentions TNA by name to promote his upcoming PWA show on Saturday, July 21. Booker says, "And yes, just in! Coming to the PWA, from TNA, formerly the Road Dogg, he is B.G. James!" You can see the video at www.bookertonline.com/home.php.
Matt Sydal is rapidly becoming the hottest free agent on the independent scene. Sydal had in-ring tryouts with WWE during the week of the Benoit tragedy and was going to work for TNA but had has his appearances cancelled because of conflicts with his touring schedule with Dragon's Gate in Japan. ECW head writer Dave Lagana is pushing for Sydal to be signed and put in ECW.
The 7/7 Saturday replay of TNA iMPACT! drew a final 0.4 cable rating with a 1.2 share.
