Edge has an undisclosed injury that he is telling people isn't serious. Edge is telling people that it took place during the closing segment at Tuesday's SmackDown taping in which Kane beats him down. He is still scheduled to defend his title against Kane at the Great American Bash pay-per-view in nine days.

Cody Rhodes was busted open hardway due to an elbow from Daivari at the 6/30 Raw house show in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Rhodes was bleeding badly and they quickly went to the finish so that he could go backstage to tend to his wound. This incident happened two days before his television debut.

Before the 6/26 SmackDown/ECW tapings, the day after word came out that Chris Benoit had murdered his family, Vince McMahon held a meeting with talent and told them that the Benoit deal was behind them and that they should go back to doing what they were doing.
