There has been quite a bit of talk that the recent departures, either from the company on a whole or TV, could be a result of increased scrutiny on the drug policy and stricter and more diligent enforcement of the policy.
There’s still no word on when Marcus Cor Von will be returning. He remains at home dealing with family issues.
Despite the decline in ratings over the past several weeks, WWE house show attendance has been strong. House shows in California drew very well two weeks ago and this Monday’s RAW at Madison Square Garden is sold out. This is attributed to people still craving the WWE experience live but not necessarily being interested in watching TV every single week. It is fair to say that a casual fan may go to an event when it comes to town but wouldn't be glued to Raw every episode.
