After Aaron "Idol" Stevens was released from his WWE contract, he went to OVW trainer Rip Rogers and asked if he could join his intermediate class and work on Derby City Wrestling's TV show. Derby City Wrestling is the farm league to Ohio Valley Wrestling where people at the OVW wrestling school, not to mention indy wrestlers, vie for a spot to get noticed and promoted to the OVW shows.
Speaking of Derby City, WWE has been watching the tapes and were impressed enough with announcer Timmy Baltimore that they invited him to Smackdown Tuesday night for a tryout as a backstage interviewer. No word on how it went.
The Score in Canada will run a special SummerSlam edition of The WWE Experience on August 26th at 7 PM. The regular week’s episode will follow at 8 PM.
