-- WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart appeared on the syndicated show "People's Court". He appeared as a witness on behalf of defendant, Michael Barbee, who was sued for non-payment for rent.
If you guys didn't know, Barbee was involved with the World Wrestling Legends PPV and the XWF promotion, having purchased the rights from Hart. At one point, Barbee claimed that Hart was the top wrestling promoter with Hart quickly responding "behind Vince McMahon. He's number one."
Anyways back the court case. The final verdict was Barbee lost a $4950 judgment to the landlord, but not after getting a reprimanded by the Judge. On a humorous afterwards both Hart and Barbee joked like it was a wrestling angle.
