We still do not have an official word on what is going on with King Booker. Unless he did so the week before he was suspended, Booker has still not signed a new contract. Right now this means that there will be a 90-day cycle that he will be able to do what he wants.

Booker won't be able to continue the King gimmick unless he goes to an Indy promotion like WWC that has a relationship with WWE. Going back to Booker T would seem like a step backwards, but if he wants a lighter schedule, he'll have to give up the King gimmick.

His wife Sharmell will be able to continue using her name, since it is her real name.
