More On Booker T Quitting, Sharmell Leaving Too?, Lots More

More On Booker T Quitting, Sharmell Leaving Too?, Lots MoreFormer World Tag Team Champion Sylvan Grenier appeared on the "Whole Effin Show" online radio show last week. When asked about his role in the Signature Pharmacy drug scandal in which he was named as a client by Sports Illustrated, Grenier said, "I was a customer at a pharmacy and I did nothing wrong." SI reported that Grenier received shipments of Somatropin, Nandrolone, Genotropin and Stanozolol, starting in February 2005 through July 2006. The former tag champion addressed all the rumors surrounding his release by stating that all the allegations around the Internet were completely false. He also added that he is looking forward to reforming La Resistance with Rob Conway in the indies as The Resistance and would not rule out TNA as a option in the future, but he would also like to tour Europe and Japan as well.

The latest issue of WWE Magazine has a big cover story about Mr. Kennedy. It's basically a magazine-style profile. It mentions that the man he "considers" his father passed away, and that he long ago lost contact with his biological father. The article is currently on the front page of WWE.com at this link.

The UK's Sun has a story on Sheamus O'Shaunessy, WWE's latest signee.

On the heels of the Signature Pharmacy scandal, Dave Batista, judging from TV, was not suspended. It should be noted that his name only appeared on ESPN.com and not the back-breaking article on Sports Illustrated's website. Privately, he was telling people that this was complete garbage and he'd never been a Signature client. He even threatened a lawsuit. Furthermore, he had to push management hard to be able to post a message on his official website regarding the steroid allegations. They let him speak out, but WWE doesn't want anyone in the company to publicly speak out on the issue after what happened with Mr. Kennedy.

As noted earlier today, Booker T quit WWE. Booker's real-life wife Sharmell is reportedly not "married" to the business and would have no problem walking away either. She'll stay as long as Booker stays in WWE. She wants to practice law and has been telling people that she wouldn't mind dropping wrestling to focus on that.
