Winner & STILL WWE Champion: Triple H

After the match, Jim Ross and Tazz talk about how close Jeff Hardy came again to becoming WWE Champion. Triple H gets to his feet as we see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, Triple H is handed the WWE Title and holds it up in the air. Triple H leaves the ring as Jeff Hardy sits up clapping. Triple H nods in respect to Hardy as he poses one last time with the WWE Title.

Chris Jericho vs. Batista
Special guest ref: 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin

- Out first is the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho. Out second is the challenger Batista. We go to Todd Grisham on the stage to see our choices for Special Guest Referee tonight: Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels or "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Stone Cold won with 74% of the vote. What a shock!

In the opening moments, Jericho decides to leave. Austin grabs a mic. Austin says if he gets disqualified or gets counted out, he will lose the belt tonight. "..... and that's the bottom line.... 'cause Stone Cold said so" says Austin.

Steve Austin starts a 10 count and Jericho runs back in the ring. After returning to the ring, Y2J is working over Batista left leg. Back and forth match with Batista getting in more offense.

Y2J applied the Walls of Jericho, but Batista was able to make it to the bottom rope to force the break. Jericho wasn't breaking the hold, so Austin pulled off Y2J by pulling his hair.

Batista went for a spear but Jericho got out of the way and Batista rammed his shoulder into the post.

Batista slammed into Austin on accident, knocking him out of the ring. Code breaker by Y2J. HBK comes running in, but makes a very slow count. HBK goes for the super kick but runs into a spear. Batista goes for the count, but JBL pulls HBK out of the ring. JBL hits Batista on his way out.

Orton comes in and hits Austin. Y2J nails Batista with the gold belt, but Batista kicks out. Orton gets a stone cold stunner! Jericho missed out on a stunner, but spear by Batista. Batista bomb by Batista, and a new champion at 17:05.

Winner and NEW World Heavyweight Champion - BATISTA!

Batista celebrates as the show ends.
