- A promo for WWE Cyber Sunday on October 26 airs.
- Back live, we see another replay of how Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy ended for the WWE Title.
- Backstage, Triple H is shown walking when Arn Anderson walks up congratulating him. Triple H thanks him and continues walking. Vladimir Kozlov then gets in Triple H's face and says something in Russian. He adds, "Congratulations." Kozlov stares down Triple H and then walks off.
- A video package airs highlighting the events between Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels leading into tonight's match.
<b>Ladder Match - World Heavyweight Title:
Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels.</b>
Michaels missed an early attempt at sweet chin music.
They have a ladder set up on the outside. Y2J went to use it on HBK, but Michaels tripped him, and Jericho went head first into the ladder.
On the outside, Jericho applied the walls of Jericho to soften up his opponent.
HBK placed a ladder in the ring, and attempted to climb up. HBK touched the title, but Jericho stopped him. Jericho used the ladder on HBK by ramming it into his rib cage.
HBK applied the figure four leg lock on Y2J in the ring.
Jericho climbed the ladder, but HBK stopped him for the first time.
Michaels tossed Jericho on top of a ladder, which was set up in the corner. On the outside, HBK dropped a ladder on the champion. HBK set up another ladder, and continued to attack Y2J with ladders.
Michaels cleared off the Smackdown announce table. HBK clibbed a ladder on the outside. Jericho came up behind him. They both crashed through the announce table!
HBK dropped an elbow from the top rope, but it appeared he hit the ladder and came up in pain. Despite it, HBK called for sweet chin music, but Jericho rammed a ladder into HBK's face.
Y2J did a lionsault, but landed on the ladder.
Y2J placed HBK under the ladder, and climbed. HBK was able to tip the ladder, and Jericho landed on the floor over the top rope.
Michaels climbed the ladder, but Jericho recovered and tip it over. HBK landed on the ropes.
They climbed either side of the ladder and traded blows. Lance Cade ran it and tried to stop Michaels. Michaels jumped on top of Cade, and he received sweet chin music. This allowed, Jericho to grab the belt. HBK climbed the ladder, and both had the belt in their hands as they fought hard for it. Jericho was able to get the belt away from HBK to retain the title at 22:19. Great match to end the show.
