WWE & TNA News: Another New Talent, TNA Show Dropped, Orton, Batista, More
From John Owens: Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Year End Awards issue doesn't hit newstands until February 5th, but their website, pwi-online.com, has given away the winner of the wrestler of the year award. For the second straight year the winner as voted by the fans is John Cena, with Kurt Angle as 1st runner up, Batista as second runner up, and Randy Orton as third runner up.

From Jeff Sheridan: WWE hall of famer Johnny Rodz's next Brooklyn show is 1/26.

WWE has signed Gary Marasciulo to a developmental deal. Marasciulo wrestled as Plazma for Mikey Whipwreck's New York Wrestling Connection promotion, which also produced the Major Brothers (Edge Heads) in WWE.

Spike TV has decided to drop the Road To PPV specials.

Footage from the Belton, TX house show is now online at TNAwrestling.com.

Speaking of the Belton event, reports suggest that the show drew around 800 fans.
