The Memphis Daily News is reporting that Memphis pro wrestling promoter Corey Maclin is suing
WWE and
Vince McMahon for pulling
Jerry Lawler from a scheduled match where he was booked to face
Hulk Hogan in Memphis, Tennessee last year.
Lawler pulled out of the booked appearance because he claimed that his WWE contract would not allow him to work since footage would be shown on VH-1’s Hogan Knows Best reality show. During this time, Hogan was not on good terms with WWE. Paul “Big Show” Wight ended up taking Lawler’s place.
