- Jim Ross mentioned last night on RAW that Chris Jericho suffered a bruised larynx at the hands of JBL on last week's broadcast. WWE.com is now running a storyline article with a Jericho "injury update" saying Jericho suffered burn marks on his neck and the bruised larynx.

- Shawn Michaels qualified for the Royal Rumble last night on RAW by defeating Trevor Murdoch. The updated list of Rumble participants now includes: Snitsky, Umaga, Cody Rhodes, Hardcore Holly, The Miz, John Morrison, Hornswoggle, Mick Foley, Batista, The Undertaker, Kane, Shawn Michaels, Jamie Noble, Finlay, Carlito and Santino Marella. Shannon Moore, Jimmy Wang and Shelton Benjamin have all competed in and won advertised Rumble qualifying matches at WWE live events but have yet to be listed on WWE.com.
