TNA changed the name of the "TNA Originals" because officials thought it was a weak name, especially considering that Rhino and Team 3-D are in the group with Jeff Jarrett and Mick Foley eventually getting involved. Officials talked about naming the group based on "X" for Xtreme. They tossed around the name "Team Xtacy" as well, but realized it was bad idea. And so they ended up calling the group "TNA Front Line."
