Mick Foley All Over TV, DVD Info For Kennedy's Movie & More
Mick Foley made an appearance of sorts on last night's 30 Rock on NBC. One of the show's cast members, played by Judah Friedlander, wore a 'Foley Artist' hat and 'Cactus Jack: Wanted Dead Or Alive' T-Shirt in the opening minutes of the show. Later on in the episode he was donning a different shirt and cap.

Speaking of Foley, he made an appearance during the UFC: Fight For The Troops this past Wednesday. The show was raising money for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and featured clips in between fights of celebrities urging people to donate. Foley was one of the celebrities featured, along with Samuel Jackson, Everlast, Jack Black and others. If you wish to donate for the cause, visit fightforthetroops.com.

On January 6th, Fox Home Entertainment & WWE Studios will release the Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia on DVD, which stars Mr. Kennedy. We hope to have a review of the DVD soon. Here is a press release for the film:

CENTURY CITY, CALIF. – Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment (TCFHE) and WWE Studios present Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia – an explosive new film that takes the Behind Enemy Lines franchise into bold new territory – debuting on DVD January 6. Shot on location in Puerto Rico and directed by Tim Matheson (Animal House), World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. Superstar Mr. Kennedy® (Ken Anderson) leads an elite team of Navy SEALs stranded deep inside Colombia’s enemy territory.

Abandoned by their government, the soldiers will have to use their special training and intelligence to rescue lives and prevent an international disaster in the third edition of the fan-favorite action film franchise. Produced by Michael Lake (12 Rounds) and Jeff Freilich (“Burn Notice”), Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia also stars Joe Manganiello (“One Tree Hill,” “How I Met Your Mother”), Keith David (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Chronicles of Riddick), Channon Roe (“Dirt,” “Windfall”), Yancey Arias (Live Free Or Die Hard, “Thief”), Jennice Fuentes (“K Street”), Chris Johnson (“South Beach”) and Steven Bauer (Scarface, Traffic).

The Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia DVD is loaded with special features including six behind-the-scenes featurettes – highlights include “The Big Guns: Military Action On Film” and “Colombia Norte: On Location In Puerto Rico” – providing an inside look at the making of this explosive sequel from its location, to stunts, weapons and more. The film will be available for a suggested retail price of $26.98 U.S. / $37.98 Canada. Additionally, a special DVD two-pack collection featuring both Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia and the original Behind Enemy Lines will be priced at $34.98 U.S./$45.98 Canada. Additional information can be found at the official Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia website: www.wwe.com/belc.

Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia is the first direct-to-video premiere resulting from the first-look agreements between WWE Studios and Fox Filmed Entertainment (FFE). The deals allow for FFE, TCFHE and WWE Studios to create film projects for release in a variety of distribution mediums including theatrical, direct digital download, and made-for-DVD. The projects will incorporate WWE talent and themes and capitalize on the brand awareness of both organizations.
