Backstage Lockdown Update, More On iMPACT! Live, More

The Boston Herald has posted a new article on their website revealing that TNA’s April pay-per-view Lockdown will be held at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, Massachusetts on April 13th. The article is a feature piece on AJ Styles (they begin by calling him his real name, Allen Jones).

Speaking of TNA Lockdown, TNA will hold a Fan Festival for the event the day before at the Tsongas Arena as this will be their debut in the New England area.

As noted last night here on the site, Dave Meltzer is reporting in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that TNA will hold their first live iMPACT! on March 21st from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. Apparently the live episode will just be a test run for the company as they will tape the following week’s edition of iMPACT! the next night, which will go head-to-head with a Ring of Honor show in the city. According to Meltzer, TNA is strongly considering taking iMPACT! live every week but there aren’t any concrete plans as of yet. Of course this will all be right before WWE’s flagship WrestleMania XXIV pay-per-view.
