The following matches are scheduled to take place at next month’s TNA Destination X pay-per-view: TNA Champion Kurt Angle & AJ Styles & Tomko vs. Samoa Joe & Kevin Nash & Christian Cage, X Division Champion Jay Lethal vs. Petey Williams for the X Division title, Booker T vs. Robert Roode, and Rhino vs. James Storm in an Elevation X match. Destination X will take place live on pay-per-view on March 9, 2008 from the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia.

As reported earlier here, there is talk within TNA about bringing back the X Division World Cup. The last time that the company did it, they had problems working with other promotions including New Japan and CMLL, however, they are still looking to work with those organizations to assemble the four-man team concept this year.

For those that have not heard, Jonny Fairplay made claims a couple of weeks ago that he was going to sign with TNA Wrestling during a recent radio interview. Fairplay, who was the first person to be eliminated on the new season of “Survivor” on CBS on February 7th, asked people to vote him off of the show because his girlfriend was pregnant. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Fairplay pitched an idea to Vince Russo to bring him in as a babyface to coincide with him being asked to be voted off of Survivor. Everyone liked the idea, but when Fairplay said he was going to sign everyone got cold on him. He was announced to the crowd at last week’s Impact tapings, so it appears he’s in. The word backstage is that no one is really high on him except Dixie Carter.
