The Future Of OVW, Brooke Hogan In Miami, Flair Turns 59, & More

The Future Of OVW, Brooke Hogan In Miami, Flair Turns 59, & More
Brooke Hogan was spotted in Miami Beach this weekend with mother Linda and brother Nick. Hulk, who is currently in the midst of a divorce with Linda, was nowhere to be found. As reported, the upcoming season of "Hogan Knows Best" will focus around Brooke and not the whole family.

Former news anchor and potential future WWE Diva Alycia Lane apparently "wasn't quite crazazy enough to assault a cop" -- and will get off with just a day of community service for an alleged smackdown back in December. Lane was in court this morning, where the Manhattan DA took the felony charge of assault down to a minor obstruction and harassment charge -- to which Lane plead not guilty. According to the DA, the scratches she made on the NYPD officer in question -- when she also allegedly called the cop "a f***ing dyke" -- didn't rise to the legal definition of physical injury. "I'm so glad this is over," said Lane. She didn't respond when asked if her next gig might be in wrestling.

Ric Flair turns 59 today. As noted earlier, Maria turns 26 as well today. They sang Happy Birthday to her at the WWE press conference earlier today.

Danny Davis plans to continue to run OVW even though WWE has ended their ties to them and will be moving their talent to FCW in the next two weeks. Nick Dinsmore, Roadkill, and Joey Matthews will now head up booking in OVW. Dinsmore also won the OVW Title last week while Roadkill and Matthews are also now working as trainers.

WWE developmental talents that were in OVW are required to report to Tampa's FCW by the end of the first week in March.

Al Snow's run with OVW will likely end this weekend as the promotion runs its final show with WWE developmental talent. Snow does have a 90 day no compete clause, so he will have to wait until May before he can start working for another promotion.

Former WWE talent Rob Conway might be getting more involved with OVW once the WWE talent leaves.

The OVW TV tapings which used to be free to attend now cost $2.
