Ring of Honor pay-per-views were recently pulled from airing in Canada because buys were practically non-existent. One of the major cable carriers only had three dozen (36) PPV buys for a recent show. In comparison, TNA has had as low as a few hundred PPV buys for their most recent shows. WWE and UFC are pretty much the only companies to do any PPV business in Canada these days.

David Heath a.k.a. Gangrel, 38, has been telling people that he's retiring this year. He made his wrestling debut in 1988. He's now working the adult entertainment business as a movie director.

After the two-hour premiere of the "The Bussey Bunch" garnered a 0.26 cable rating, TLC canceled the show scheduled for January 29 without letting anyone know and axed the series all together. They said since 70% of TLC's audience is female, a wrestling reality show didn't fit on their station.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson said that his upcoming movie, Witch Mountain, will begin production next month in Las Vegas. He said his role in the movie will be the biggest single lead movie role of his career because this movie will be the biggest budgeted movie and biggest in terms of box office movie expectations in his career. In other Rock related movie news, he's heading to Europe to promote The Game Plan and they hope after he's done promoting it that the figures for the movie will end up between $140 and $150 million. Also, Rock said that test marketing for his other upcoming movie, Get Smart, tested very high and that people thought it was funny. The movie will be released on June 20.
