Sting is expected to return to TNA in the next few months. Having signed a new deal not long ago, he has made a commitment to the company but is taking time off right now to spend time with his family. Sting's last TNA appearance was back in November 2007 at the Genesis PPV teaming with the debuting Booker T.

Abyss is expected to be backstage at all TNA TV and PPV events assisting in the creative process while he is kept off TV. We are aware of reports of him sitting in on creative meetings with the company for the better part of the last year or so. The goal is to keep his character off TV to give it a chance to freshen up and be brought back with a new direction.

The overwhelming majority of the TNA locker room believes that Johnny Fairplay is under a new TNA contract, although that has not been confirmed. Dixie Carter is said to be the only person high up on him.
