Lauren Jones Update, Mysterio, Cruiserweight Title Retired, & More News
NYSportsSpace.com has an interview with former WWE Diva Lauren Jones. She was asked about why she's not in WWE anymore, and she said: "There was just a mutual desire to part ways for a while. I wanted to pursue bigger opportunities & WWE wanted me to become a full time wrestler. I decided to leave for career related reasons. Nothing personal." She also talks about Anchorwoman, the "Baywatch Beach Body Workout," what she's up to nowadays, and more.

Wrestlemaniac starring Rey Misterio, Sr. -- the uncle of WWE star Rey Mysterio Jr. -- and 2005 Diva Search contestant Leyla Milani is now out on DVD.

The WWE Cruiserweight Championship has been officially retired. On the WWE.com title history page, they recently moved the WWE Cruiserweight title from the listing grouping the active WWE titles, to the listing grouping defunct championship titles such as the Hardcore Championship, the European belt and the Light Heavyweight Championship. Back in September, Acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero forced Hornswoggle to surrender the Cruiserweight Championship, citing that his status as Mr. McMahon's son and his diminutive stature would eventually jeopardize his well-being.
