It is likely that Sting will return to TNA Wrestling for their Lockdown pay-per-view next month. We reported last week that TNA was already teasing a return for the Stinger through their Mobile Alert service and there was a good chance that he would work Lockdown because it is considered one of TNA's "big three" shows.

TNA did an angle at Tuesday night's Impact tapings after the main event where Christian Cage & Rhino defeated Team 3D where they teased a Sting appearance. After the match, AJ Styles, Tomko, and Johnny Devine helped Team 3D beat up on Christian and Rhino. Kevin Nash, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Curry Man, and Sharkboy came out to make the save but the heels ended up prevailing. After everyone was laid out, Sting's music and video played on the big screen in the Impact Zone.

While Sting did not appear, it remains obvious that a Sting return is imminent. There is a good chance that he will be added to Christian's team for the Lethal Lockdown match at the pay-per-view next month.
