Regarding Silas Young's release from WWE last Monday, he apparently quit. It might have something to do with moving from Louisville to Florida and he didn't want to.

As noted last week, German Figueroa a.k.a. former TNA wrestler Apolo, was released as well. He was facing a number of legal issues in Puerto Rico as he missed a court date appearance and then sentenced to jail for 30 days. However, he didn't turn himself into jail was considered to be a fugitive in the country. It's also now coming out that Figueroa had apparently failed a drug test in Puerto Rico, although WWE chose not to release his name. WWE's updated drug policy calls for all new signees to pass a drug test before joining the company.

The Rock is on such a tight schedule that he will not be appearing WrestleMania. He's currently busy filming Disney's upcoming "Witch Mountain" movie on the west coast and he will only be able to fly in for the Hall of Fame and then fly out.
