Contrary to earlier reports, Candice Michelle did not make her in-ring return to WWE at the Raw live events over weekend. Candice worked both house shows; however, she did work the matches that she was advertised for.

We have gotten word that Matt Hardy returned to WWE during an angle tonight with MVP at the SmackDown/ECW live event at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

According to one of our live correspondents, after MVP retained his United States Heavyweight Championship in a match against Jimmy Wang Yang, Hardy came out after MVP proceeded to beat up on Yang. MVP retreated at first but Hardy ended up knocking him out and laying his championship across him.

Matt Hardy has been out of action since undergoing an emergency appendectomy back in November. He appeared on camera at the December 29th Raw taping in Greensboro, North Carolina in an angle with Randy Orton that aired on the New Year’s Eve edition of Raw.
