More On The Konnan Lawsuit, WWE 24/7, WWE/FCW, & More News




To follow up on a story that we reported last week, Konnan has not formally filed his discrimination lawsuit against TNA wrestling. Although a lawsuit is definitely in the works, the only thing Konnan's lawyer Cary Ichter has filed so far is a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Atlanta, Georgia. They have given TNA 30 days to respond to the complaint before moving forward with the $7 million lawsuit.

WWE averaged 115,000 subscribers for WWE 24/7 over the course of 2007, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The Orlando Sentinel has an article online today looking at WWE's Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory. The article features quotes from developmental worker and current FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion Jake Hager and head trainer Steve Keirn

Former WWE, TNA & ECW star Kid Kash made his MMA debut on Friday night in Frankfort, Kentucky. Kash lost the 3-round fight by decision to Bryan Brown. The fight was the main event of a show promoted by Premier Sports Group.
