Career Threatening Match
Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels
Early in the match Flair and Michaels were trading blows and Flair kept yelling 'Old Yeller, huh?' which ended with Michaels slapping Flair causing Flair to bleed a little from the mouth.

At one point Michaels tried hitting a moonsault on the outside and missed and landed on the announce table.

Later Michaels was about to superkick Flair but couldn't, and Flair took advantage to get Michaels in a figure four. Michaels was able to reverse it and Flair made the ropes.

At one point Flair was in control and Michaels managed to nail Flair with the superkick, but Flair kicked out. Michaels then tried getting Flair up to hit the superkick again but Flair hit Michaels with a low blow and got a two count.

Michaels then got Flair in an inverted figure four but Flair hit a thumb to the eye to get out of it. He cradled HBK for a two count. Good match so far.

The two exchanged chops and HBK was able to hit a superkick on Flair again. Michaels looked saddened, but got up to seemingly superkick Flair again. Flair slowly got up and told Michaels to bring it, Michaels said he was sorry and that he loved him and hit the superkick and got the three count.

Winner: Shawn Michaels via pinfall

Michaels quickly left the ring. Flair got up and was crying. The crowd gave him a standing ovation and Flair gave his farewell to the fans. Amazing moment. Flair went to ringside and hugged and kissed his family. He left to no music and just the applause of the audience.
