Buffalo Jim Barrier, who owned and performed in the now defunct Las Vegas, NV based Buffalo Wrestling Federation, was found dead in a room at a Las Vegas Motel 6 on April 6. Officials originally said no foul play was suspected, however many people think he was murdered. He had been in a long running feud with former strip club owner Rick Rizzolo, and provided the U.S. government with information during their investigation of Rizzolo, which ended with Rizzolo being sent to prison for tax evasion. Incidentally, Rizzolo was released from prison two days before Barrier's body was found, leading many to believe he was ordered dead by Rizollo in retaliation for helping send him to prison.
