-The show opens with a little hype piece on the Brothers of Destruction appearing on ECW. It’s seems like after not having them team up for a few years they’ve done it a lot lately. No?

-Joey Styles welcomes us to the show and again hyping the “match of champions.” Taker & Kane vs. Morrison & Miz. Tazz mentions the good news and bad news. Joey Styles is leaving ECW, but he’s taking over WWE.com. Joey promised he’d bring the fans what they want at WWE.com. Joey introduces Mike Adamle as the new announcer for ECW. Mike says he’s looking forward to the opportunity. Adamle asks Joey what happens if you take Tazz’s sunglasses off? He’s got jokes!

-CM Punk makes his way down to the ring as part of an 8-man tag match.

-Yang & Moore come out together.

-Kofi fills out the face team. Well, I haven’t heard Adamle embarrass himself yet.

-Burke comes out first for the heels.

-Deuce and Domino make their way out.

-Shelton Benjamin rounds out the heels.

CM PUNK & KOFI & MOORE & YANG VS. DEUCE & DOMINO & BURKE & BENJAMIN

-Domino and Punk start it off with a lock up. Domino rings the arm and puts in a wrist lock. Punk reverses it into a side headlock and is thrown into the ropes, where he bounces off with a shoulder block. Moore is tagged in who rings the arm and brings in Yang. Yang comes in with a big dropkick then works the arm. Punk tags in and Benjamin does too soon after.

-Shelton goes for a back suplex, but Punk gets his weight going forward and comes down on top for a 2 count. The faces and heels end up outside the ring. Punk is fronting his group and Benjamin fronting his group. They stand face to face and head out to a break 2:42 into the match.

-Back from the break Punk and Burke are in the ring. Burke hits a snap mare then goes for an elbow, Punk moves. Kofi gets the tag and receives a large pop upon his entrance. He hits an arm drag and moves into a cover for 2, while holding the arm and puts in an arm bar. He makes a quick exit by tagging in Moore, who quickly tags in Yang. Yang smashes Burke’s head into the turnbuckle. Burke comes back and hits the 4-up. Benjamin gets the tag and bulldozes Yang into the turnbuckle. Shelton puts in a headlock on the mat and settles in with it. The crowd rallies around Yang, who hits a series of back elbows before being taken back down to the mat.

-Deuce gets in the tag and puts the boots to Yang. He taunts the face team and they step through the ropes, but the ref backs them up. Deuce settles in with a headlock. Yang ends up backed into the heel corner where he gets pummeled with fists. Burke in now and he bulldozes Yang into the near left turnbuckle. He starts throwing forearms. Domino comes in and hits a body slam. Now another headlock on Yang as they continue to try and wear him down. Domino runs at Yang for something and Yang back body drops him. The hot tag to Kofi is made and he goes to work eventually hitting the two-legged leg drop. The action breaks down entirely ending with Moore hitting a plancha onto the heels outside. Kofi and Domino are left alone in the ring and Kofi quickly hits the buzzsaw and it’s over.
