Festus whips Zack across the ring again and starts to choke him. Zack shoves him away and gets on his back starting to punch him. Festus slams Zack to the mat and beats on him.

Festus headbutts Zack’s spine then goes for the cover. 2 count.

Festus picks Zack up by the head and lifts him up but Zack gets away and starts punching Festus.

Zack works over Festus’ arm but Festus just punches Zack to get him off. Zack keeps getting up but Festus keeps taking him down with hard clotheslines.

Festus picks Zack up by the head, holds him and then slams him down on the mat. Festus dives onto Zack who crawls to the corner but Festus slams Zack to the mat and goes for the cover.

Shawn Michaels is shown backstage walking and it’s announced that he will be addressing the fans next.

“This past Monday night I came out and I addressed the Raw audience and I did my best to put into words the emotions that I have been feeling since my match with Ric Flair at WrestleMania. I didn’t do a good job with it and honestly, I don’t know if I’ll do any better tonight.

As the evening went on, an amazing thing happened. During the farewell address of Ric Flair I went to the ring and I didn’t know what was going to happen, but I found myself standing face to face with my boyhood idol. Our eyes teared up and then I got a hug from the Naitch. That gave me some closure.

Shawn Michaels is cut off by Batista heading out to the ring. Batista gets into the ring and stares down Michaels.

“You know Shawn, I’m glad that you found closure. But I don’t think the rest of us have. I know I haven’t. Sunday night, WrestleMania, one of the hardest nights of my career and not because of my match with Umaga. Because it was the last time that I was ever going to see my friend, my mentor, the Nature boy Ric Flair wrestle.

Ric loved to complete, he loved to entertain and you took that all away.”

“Do you think that was easy for me Dave? It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”
