I can confirm that Fit Finlay, Hornswoggle, Matt Hardy, and Mr. Kennedy were all not backstage at RAW in Albany, NY. Why Kennedy wasn't there is beyond me.

The transition from the WWE creative staff to developmental by Dusty Rhodes had been in the works for some time. Rhodes wanted to switch to developmental when Michael Hayes replaced Dave Lagana as the head Smackdown writer. Rhodes, who had been helping with ECW, was also looking for a reduced travel schedule. In his new role, Rhodes will be liason to Stephanie McMahon.

Michael Hayes and Ed Koskey have been mentioned as names that could end up the head writer for ECW. Koskey is currently a Raw writer, and could work on both shows. There is a concern that Hayes might burn out if he heads both shows.
