Plans For Undertaker's Return Revealed

-- The current plans for the return of the Undertaker storyline is that it will lead into a late July return. This will put it just in time for a match against Edge at Summerslam.

There are a few reasons why Undertaker is absent from WWE TV right now. One of those is that he is pretty banged up right now, and need some time to heal. Another reason is that WWE wants him to continue his program with Edge, but they feared it would run out of steam if they continued to use Taker on TV.

It should also be noted that WWE creative was not told that Undertaker would be absent from WWE TV until about a week ahead of time.

The Undertaker is currently working the Smackdown/ECW brand tour of Australia & New Zealand right now. They have had Shane McMahon come out and explain that a "deal was struck" to allow Undertaker to work the tour to say good bye to his over seas fans.
