Johnny Ace has shown some interest in possibly bringing back former WWE Light Weight Champion Essa Rios. Rios was first brought into WWE back in 1997 under the name of Papi Chulo. In 2000 Lita debuted as his manger and he adopted the name Essa Rios. He was released in late 2001. Rios made a comeback to the United States in 2004 as part of Team Mexico for TNA in the World X Cup. Rios currently wrestles as masked under the name Mr. Aguila for the CMLL promotion out of Mexico.

Super Luchas is reporting that Johnny Ace offered Dos Caras Jr. a contract but when he was told that they were assigning him to Florida Championship Wrestling to learn American style, Caras Jr. turned the offer down.

WWE shipped aprox. 646,000 DVDs for the month of June.

The recent Smackdown/ECW tapings in Tulsa, Oklahoma will most likely be the last WWE event ever at the Tulsa Convention Center since a new venue is opening in the city this fall.
