Which Match Will Close The GAB PPV?, ECW/RAW Merger, & More
This could mean the planned switch of taping ECW on Monday night's before Raw has been moved back yet again. Mid-September WWE house show events that were advertised as Raw/ECW joint shows are now just listed as Raw shows. It is possible they are waiting until the first week of October to make the switch when Smackdown moves to MyNetworkTV.

Jim Ross recently commented on the rumors of this planned switch over on his official website at JrsBarBBQ.com adding: "That horse ain't leaving the barn. Could there be some combo ECW/Raw live events? Sure. There could also be on going ECW/Smackdown live events too at the same time. However, that has zero to do with ECW moving its TV production to Monday night which, again, I don't think will happen."

As plans stand right now, Triple H defending the WWE Championship against Edge is scheduled to close tomorrow night's WWE Great American Bash PPV in Long Island, New York. Plans are always subject to change, but that was the idea heading into the show.
