According to a report in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is said to be nothing imminent in regards to Jeff Jarrett returning to the ring for TNA. Jarrett is still scheduled to work the upcoming UK tour in January 2009 as he was advertised when tickets went on sale.

Jarrett return rumors always seem to flare up around this time of the year as the company's biggest show of the year, Bound For Glory, approaches this October. Talk also seems to come up around the time of Slammiversary every year which has already come and gone.

Jarrett's last match for TNA was with Robert Roode at the TNA Sacrifice PPV in May of 2007. Since then, he has remained off television and stayed active with his backstage day-to-day role with the company. Whether or not he has any plans for a full-time return remains to be seen.
