Real Reason For Balls/Delany Firings, Backstage WWE Food Fight?, More
» Former ECW Superstar Balls Mahoney tells Newsday.com's Alfonso Castillo that he left WWE on good terms and was told by the company that he could be used on Big Show's or could be brought back in the future. Mahoney says he hurt his shoulder in the gym and stopped lifting weights and basically fell out of shape for WWE's standards. He says when his wife got pregnant, his focus switched from wrestling to raising his son. WWE saw what was happening with Balls and scrapped his angle with Kelly Kelly but tried to let him hang around and work it out. Balls was released from his WWE deal on April 28th, 2008. » As noted several weeks ago, The Great Khali's knees are absolutely shot these days. Khali has declined on getting them operated on yet again.

» Regarding the release of Colin Delaney, despite the heavy amount of screen time devoted to him over the past eight months, his character failed to get over as well as officials had hoped and he was let go. The move to turn him heel on Tommy Dreamer fell flat and there wasn't much more they could do with him. When he signed his contract back in January, it was a three-year deal, which of course is off now. Delaney is already back working indy shows.

» The operations manager at the BancorpSouth Arena in Tupelo, Mississippi said dealing with WWE was the worst. "The wrestlers, themselves, had somehow decided to have a food fight in the dressing room," said Craig Russell. "We had mashed potatoes on the light fixtures."
