- Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with TNA World Champion Kurt Angle. Borash said no answer from Styles yet despite the best efforts of Karen. Kurt asks what he means. Borash said she tried to seduce Styles. Kurt laughs and said no one can turn his wife down and that things will work out tonight.

Kurt Angle defeated Christian Cage to retain the TNA world title. The crowd is firmly behind Christian. Nice back and forth match to start. Angle belly to belly suplxes Cage over the top rope and to the floor. Angle nails Christian with one of the best moonsaults I have ever seen in my life. Cage locks Angle in a Texas Cloverleaf but Angle reverses it into the Ankle Lock. They go back and forth, trying to hit each others finishers. Unprettiers, Ankle locks, etc etc etc.... back and forth. Cage hits the Unprettier but only gets a near fall. Really good match up to this point. AJ Styles comes to the ring and nails Christian giving Angle the pin and the win. Angle retains, AJ screws Christian.
