Number One Contenders Match
- Batista vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield

Batista pinned JBL after a Batista bomb in a relatively short match. JBL was going for the clothesline from hell, but Batista hit JBL with his own clothesline instead. He then followed up with the Batista bomb.

Winner via pinfall: Batista

JBL got on the mic after the match and said it's been one of the most unbelievable weeks of his life. He said his heart wasn't in it tonight and it's been the most dramatic week of his life because of what's happening on Wall Street. He thanked Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi for the bailout and helping rich people like him. He forgot to mention George Bush and Henry Paulson, who came up with the plan. Cryme Tyme then came up on the Titan Tron and said since the taxpayer's bailed him out, they're going to bail out his limo. They said they were taking all the divas out on the town in the limo and the divas were all shown dancing and getting in the limo. Sgt. Slaughter went with them too. Basically a segment to get the divas and Cryme Tyme some PPV TV time.

The Undertaker vs. The Big Show

This was a pretty good big man match. At one point Undertaker went for old school, but wen he came off The Big Show caught him by the throat and hit a chokeslam for a two count. The end of the match saw the Big Show removed the padding from the turnbuckle in the corner and drive Taker's head in it. He then hit Taker with 2 right hands and then another one to the back of Taker's head and referee Charles Robinson stopped the match and awarded it to the Big Show. It was an effective way to put over the right hands of the Big Show and getting it over as a finisher.

Winner via ref stoppage: The Big Show

After the match Taker slowly got back up to his feet and had a glazed look on his face. He then stumbled on his way to the back. Great job by Taker putting over the Big Show, it reminded me of when Taker put the Great Khali over a couple of years ago.

In the mobile texting vote on who you were rooting for between Jeff Hardy and Triple H, 72% were for Hardy. I was a little surprised that it was such a blowout.

WWE Championship Match
- Triple H (c) vs. Jeff Hardy

Great match. The finish saw Jeff Hardy counter the pedigree and hit a twist of fate. He then hit a swanton and went for the cover. At the two count, Triple H was able to roll Hardy over into his own pin and get the three count.
